Aren't these for healthy nights out walking under the stars, a place to go to get kids out and know where they are in the township? Are the same people not approving the cruise nights they same kind of peop;le that hand their kids video games so they dont have to teach them. Yes, as a township we should be stepping up and letting holsum type family nights happen, where people can get out and walk and breath fresh air and talk to their neighbors. Where people can admire nice craftsmanship and hand down some knowledge to a youngster and possibly give some direct to a troubled teen. Yes, little things like cruise nights do turn peoples lives around. And, I have not seen this township do anything to help prormote weekly cruise nights or gathering where everyone is freindly unless it is at a local bar where kids cant go with their parents, or some little league baseball game where there is some type of competition more for the parents then the fun of the game. Make the township a fun place. Offer to have pickup games instead of making money on the fields every night. Organize a fun league where township residence and there kids can play together. Male or female. So many ideas of what use to work in the past have been pushed aside for a buck and no one thinks of the kids and teaching them morals and respect for fellow man. To many people would rather hand their child an electronic babysitter instead of spending real time with them. This township is doing nothing to help families spend time together. Can't wait for this to happen but I dont hear anything about making people shut off their cars at SONIC yet. Think about how they are poluting the environment, wasting gas. Maybe the township should restrict car use in the township. I guess we get the idea. Promote the family attitude, preserve the farmland and openness that we have bought into. We are here for the open space, the farmland, and friendly atmosphere. Dont promote shutting people out and closing off our view of the land. Putting more parling lots around warehouse buildings and letting lights blare all night is not saving money either and it is not allowing the people a fairness of living near these areas. The people moved here for piece and quiet and darkness at night. If they want to live in the city, let them move someplace else. This is the country. Dont turn it into some wharehouse disrtict. Think about this, do onto others as you would have them do onto you. Would you want a warehouse next to your house? Or would you like to see a family enjoying a good time, with the kids and parents playing together. I think this township needs to wake up and not get steamrolled.

I don't recall the specific LN issue I was looking for a few months back, but it did ultimately lead me to your websites.

I won't complain about the manager or BOS and the jobs they are doing, but do expect that they know that their positions do come with accountability and I thank you for providing it.

The official township website has been a joke and could/should be a clearinghouse of community information. If they are unable to do it, they should not be complaining if someone else picks up the torch and does it themselves.

And then to complain about the contents and views of the site is doubley absurd.

Keep up the good work.

That is just crazy! Has our township supervisor lost their minds, I already know Tim has. They are turning something away that benefits KIDS, can we get more heartless?

Well there was nothing wrong with this website. I find it up to date and news worthy. We have the freedom of speech and Tim Tenges likes the Freedom of speech until it is against him. I have known him too long. Sorry Tim there are still people in Lower Nazareth that are still out there and paying attention!

No one should act surprised that Mr. Tenges is acting like he is. This is a man who was given the job by his buddies on the Board and has little or no oversight. Mr. Tenges, surely, feels that he is entitled to do what he believes is "best," regardless of what those in the community may feel. The same things happen in Hanover Township (Northampton County), for very similar reason, but without a watchdog.

And amused is correct, he who holds a public position should expect to be questioned and expect to have some disagree with their position on different policies. As taxpayers - and ultimately the people paying Mr. Tenges salary - isn't that the right of the public? If a public official cannot accept this then they should resign.

What Mr. Tenges and Mr. Finnigian (in Hanover) are proving is that these small townships are places where corrupt public officials have been able to exist outside of public scrutiny. That needs to change.

Keep up the good work and try and find someone in Hanover to do the same as you do in LNT.

For Mr. Tenges:

When you hold a public position, such as the one you have, you will always have members of the public you serve disagree with you. If you cannot handle the heat--- GET OUT! You clearly forgot just who you work for.
